what I’ve created –

  • Moments on an iPhone

what I’ve listened to –

quote I liked –

“They say you die twice, one time when you stop breathing and a second time a bit later on, when somebody says your name for the last time.”

“Every subculture dies twice. Once when the mainstream discovers it, second when people start copying the symbols but don’t understand its core values and origin.”

what I discovered –

  • Spend time with old friends who’ve been with you through many seasons. An evening together is more life giving than time with anyone else.
  • Loquita has such an incredible paella and vibe. 10/10 date spot.
  • Shooting a music video long play was a blast and such a great learning experience.
  • Communicate clearly what you need.
  • Morro Bay has incredible thrifting and vintage shops.
  • Learned how to change my headlights on my own. Feels good.
  • Work will fill every minute of space you give it. Be careful what access you allow it to fill.

what I wouldn’t try again –

Don’t bring your tattoo gun to jury duty.

Don’t stay in motels if a hotel is available / book hotels at least 2hr in advance.

Don’t try to film an interview without the proper gear.

how life is beautiful –

Shopping at the Galleria with my grandmother and getting driven to the grocery store by my baby sister who recently got her license was such a joy. The south is a calm sweet soul.

Sweating at the Iron City with rusty plates is a life-giving way to reset.

Realizing love is simple and not from the head but from the heart.

Sharing my home and my life with my mentor and his son and drinking “horsechata” swimming in the river, climbing around the rocks, eating sushi, hiking at sunrise to the tallest peak in the SM range.
